Vacancy Description:
My client is looking for a mechanical field service engineer to cover the Kent Area + 30 miles.
Areas include: Croydon, Maidstone, Canterbury, Dartford and Sittingbourne.
The Mechanical engineer will be required to provide routine maintenance, inspection to Mechanical and Electrical Equipment on sites in the waste water and Rain Harvest industry.
The successful Engineer will essentially be home based and have the means provided to travel to necessary jobs around the region.
For all they will be supported by the office, they will be expected to be able to work using their own initiative and be self motivated in order to work independently. It will be essential for the engineer to have good communication skills in order to maintain good customer relations as well as the ability to convey all the relevant things back to the office.
The mechanical Engineer will have mechanical experience and electrical experience (would be a bonus) on pumps, motors, air compressors, however full inductory training will be provided. Electrical experience will be a bonus.
