Vacancy Description:
The SSA will provide support and guidance on the following:
" Ensuring the elements of the PRPC application design assigned to them is produced in line with the BPM CoE Processes, supports the Project Architecture and the Project functional and non functional Requirements. We would expect that a SD would be assigned to the most complex elements of the solution.
" Participating in definition of the products and components that are part of the Project.
" Liaising with appropriate Business Process Management Centre of Excellence ("CofE") Architects to ensure the design and identified reuse of existing rules etc is appropriate. Also seeking new opportunities for reuse. Promoting the identification and use of Shared Patterns across the project.
" Supporting the identification of key software development challenges working with the Aspire team to mitigate the associated risks these may pose to the delivery
" Following, promoting and seeking to enhance the Aspire CofE Software Engineering process
" Seeking to ensure that the project delivery schedule supports the Software Engineering process and that the team work to deliver against that schedule.
" Ensuring the design and development activity within their area of responsibility follows the BPMCOE Software Engineering process and that the software solution has been built in accordance with the design, and to the required quality standards.
" Ensuring that the design within their area of responsibility is fit for purpose and can be implemented (built/developed) within known project constraints.
" Promoting and providing governance to ensure that best-practice development processes are followed and improved on.
" Ensuring all key design decisions are documented and agreed by Project Architect and Project LSA.
" Providing Technical Leadership within the development team in all aspects of the application design and build within their area of responsibility.
" Ensuring Design and Configuration for Reuse is promoted within the project wherever possible.
