Vacancy Description:
Etica is working with a growing company who specialise in streamlining buisiness processes and are looking for a talented a Technical OEM Pre-sales engineer who will help to qualify sales opportunities, resolve all technical issues arising during the sales engagement with the OEM partner, help partners define specifications and requirements, build and develop solutions, and also provide technology presentations to both technical and management-level audiences.
Essential Skills and Abilities:Ability to articulate complex and technical details in an easy to understand way.
Qualifications and Knowledge:Excellent database, datawarehouse storage ,networking and operating systems knowledge including backup/recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Ability to write complex shell scripts
Work Experience Minimum 5 years commercial experience, covering design, architecture, integration and customisation and finally onsite implementation.
Communication / Influencing:Excellent presentation and written skills
Ability to communicate with partners at all levels.
Desirable:

Some knowledge of programming C/C++ or Java
